The KCOEC administers two Student Leadership Initiative Programs (SLIP), which consist of students from Plano, Sandwich, Yorkville, and Oswego. These programs provide leadership experiences and skill development to prepare the students for leading our communities in the future.
Students apply to be in the program and are interviewed by their schools’ advisors, prior to considering their acceptance into the program. The SLIP 1 program focuses on team building, group development, and exposure to various community resources. This experience culminates with two days of providing pioneering experiences for 3rd graders visiting the KCOEC.
